The CMDFlash tool is an advanced reader/programmer that supports various protocols including BDM, EOBD K-LINE, EOBD CAN-BUS, and EOBD PWM, compatible with the latest generation ECUs. Utilising the BDM method requires detaching the ECU from the vehicle, opening it, and connecting it to our tool using a specialised connector that fits Bosch EDC16, Marelli, Siemens, and Delphi ECUs.

This versatile tool is available either as an extension of our Map3d software or as an independent tool. The software is capable of reading and writing the Eprom (29bl802 / M58), the internal firmware, and the serial e2prom that contains the vehicle's codes. An automatic checksum correction algorithm is integrated for all ECU families, eliminating the need for manual checksum calculations.

The CMDFlash tool excels in reading the ECU's eprom. In cases of unsuccessful map tuning, system freezes, or interrupted write operations, the tool enables you to restart the programming process, restoring the ECU to operational status and allowing the vehicle to start. All ECU data can be compiled into a single file, incorporating details such as brand, model, registration number, chassis number, date, notes, and customer information. This data is easily accessible with search capabilities and integration directly into Microsoft Windows Explorer.
